From the
orchard, with care.
ARM Protein began with a simple question — why does a recovery shake need twenty-six ingredients when one good almond will do?

One promise.
A shake we'd actually drink.
It started in 2019, in a kitchen in Vancouver. After experimenting with every plant protein available, our founders were tired of recovery shakes that read like a chemistry textbook — twenty-six ingredients, half of them gums and stabilisers, the rest a flavour system pretending to be food.
They went the other way. One ingredient. Just almonds — cold-milled, never roasted, with their natural fats and fibres intact. The first batch was rough. The fifth was good. The fiftieth, finally, was something we'd hand to our kids.

One grove in California.
Almonds are particular. Where they grow, when they're harvested, how they're stored — it all shows up in the finished mix. So we don't buy bulk. We work with one family grove in California's San Joaquin Valley.
It costs more. It takes longer. But the flavour is softer, the protein is cleaner, and the people who grow our almonds are people we know by name.

Cold-milled, never roasted.
Most protein powders are made hot — high-heat extrusion that's fast, cheap, and a little brutal on the ingredient. We mill cold. A slow, low-heat process that keeps the almond's natural minerals intact and the flavour soft on the tongue.
It's the difference between toast and a freshly cracked nut. You can taste it.

" I wanted a recovery shake I would actually feed my kids — no gums, no fillers, no powdered cocktails of things I could not pronounce. So we made one. One ingredient. Just almonds, milled with care. "
Four quiet commitments.
